Chai is a central part of Nepalese culture and it is enjoyed by everyone regardless of religion, social status or time of day. Chai seems to help connect people for some reason, therefore we would like to share this traditional taste of Nepal with you.
To give a perfect balance of aroma and sweetness, we use authentic Himalayan spices (ginger, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon, aniseed, nutmeg and cloves), infused with organic Nepalese black tea leaves and a hint of Australian organic honey to make this Himalayan sticky chai.
Our chai is preservative-free, refined sugar-free, gluten-free, coeliac friendly and available in vegan option.

Everest
As named after the highest summit of world the Everest coffee bean as defines itself as full
caturra Arabic beans with 80% yielding from high altitude land of Nepal and infused with Ethiopian beans to give a nutty and aromatic flavor punch.
The Nepalese beans grown in the Himalayan region in Nepal, combined with the ideal growing conditions and soils produces a superior speciality graded quality in taste and smoothness in the cup. It has a very mild acidity, light body and soft-smooth flavor and has delicate floral tones with hints of jasmine and cinnamon to give you a creamy silky texture even with non dairy milk options. The unique beans are mildly roasted in Melbourne for a perfect cuppa.

Chai Pots
Our magnificent Chai is served on handmade terra-cotta pots which are made in Melbourne by the supremely talented potter Nicole Cocis. And it is made, like all earthenware, by firing in kiln. The terracotta pots are glazed for hygienic purpose and are dishwasher safe.
Chai drinkers at Elektra, swear by the superiority of the earthen pot. Our chai is suffused with the earthy aroma from the terracotta pots giving it a rich and earthy flavor.

Logo Meaning
- designed by Sophie Rasheed @s.eed.art -
Embedded into this mandala are the Yantras of Surya (peace of mind, power, good health, overcoming difficulties) and Lakshmi (wealth, abundance).
The Mandala includes a square with four “T” shapes jutting out on each of its four sides. These “T” shapes are referred to as the gates of earth, symbolizing the connection of the hallowed space of the Mandala to the outside world.
The lotus flower are pointing outwards and relates to the process of growth as a human being and unfolding of our understanding, eventually ‘blossoming’ and opening up to achieve enlightenment.
The prayer flags have been honored as well by utilizing their colors as the foundation for this mandala.
